This web site is dedicated to the activities of the East Kilbride Youth Disability Sports Club (EKYDSC).
The EKYDSC is a sports club which provides disabled youths with the chance to take part in competitive and non-competitive sports. It is founded by the parents of the people that go, supported by South Lanarkshire Disability Sport and promotes interest and participation in a wide variety of activities for youngsters with special needs. The club is run by the elected office bearers, management committee members and the members' own parents and helper. No-one is paid to run the EKYDSC it is purely voluntary.
VOTED EAST KILBRIDE SPORTS COUNCIL "CLUB OF THE YEAR"
The EKYDSC meets every Saturday from 11.30am-1.30pm at the Universal Connections in the centre of East Kilbride. The cost of attending the club is £1 and for that small amount of money, the members have immense fun, can keep fit and active, but most of all, they gain treasured friends. Anyone aged between 12-25 is welcome to join; even able-bodied people who can help out with the activities on offer.
